On 26th July 2022, Kargil Vijay Divas celebrated and was organized by the History Department, under the banner of Amrit Mahotsav, in Maharani Lakshmi Ammanni College for Women, Autonomous. The Chief Guest was Lt Col Dheeresh Tripathi (Kargil War Veteran) and Mr. Rakesh Ramesh, Ex-IPS Officer. There was a short movie shown to the students and a brief explanation was given about the War. At the end National Anthem was sang.
