Department of Commerce (PG) organised A seminar on the topic “Presentation on Soft skills and business communication “ for 2nd Year M. COM. The session was conducted by Mr. RAVI GHAI and co-ordinated by Dr. ABHINANDAN N.
The objective of the session was to enhance the knowledge of students in developing communication skills needed for the corporate world.
The first part of the session included illustrations on similar sounding words and pronunciations and focused on corporate vocabulary, antonyms and synonyms.
Mr. Ravi Ghai demonstrated few examples with PowerPoint presentation and printed materials and also shared his personal experience in the corporate sector. The students actively participated in the session. The last part of the session included reviewing of students’ résumé and sharing thoughts regarding the same. Mr. Ravi Ghai also enlightened students with tips on resume writing.
It was an interactive session and students observed valuable inputs from the session and also shared positive feedback post the session.
