As per the directions of Election Commission of India "Electoral Literacy Club" have been set up in all educational institutions including colleges and universities to create to create electoral awareness among the students through various activities like essay competition, debate, poster making etc at college, district and state level.
In this regard Department of Political Science conducted essay competition on the topic " The Role of Voters in the success of Democracy"
