Our Commitment to Academic Integrity
At Maharani Lakshmi Ammanni College for Women (mLAC), the Examination Cell is the cornerstone of our autonomous academic framework. We are deeply committed to conducting fair, transparent, and timely assessments that uphold the highest integrity of our academic standards.
To ensure a seamless evaluation experience for our student body and maintain strict compliance with university regulations, the Examination Cell operates with the following core objectives:
- Process Management: To seamlessly process and manage all examinations in strict accordance with the academic calendar, and in line with statutory and regulatory body guidelines.
- Awareness & Transparency: To actively create awareness regarding assessment processes, grading practices, and examination rules among both students and faculty.
- Execution & Results: To flawlessly conduct the End Semester and Supplementary Examinations for all Undergraduate and Postgraduate programs, and ensure the timely declaration of results.
- Timely Scheduling: To prepare and issue official notifications for the End Semester Exam Timetable at least three weeks prior to the commencement of examinations.
- Expert Evaluation: To facilitate the constitution of the Board of Examiners (BOE) in close coordination with the Heads of Departments, and to manage a highly secure Centralized Valuation process.
- Exam Integrity: To constitute a dedicated Vigilance Squad to oversee the smooth, unbiased, and secure conduct of all examinations.
- Disciplinary Oversight: To constitute and guide the Malpractice Enquiry Committee, functioning under the direct supervision of the Controller of Examinations (CoE), to address any procedural violations.
- Degree Conferral: To ensure the accurate and timely process of awarding Degrees for various programs, strictly adhering to agreed timelines and overarching University regulations.
